BNET was established to hasten the growth and economic diversification of the telecommunications sector in Bahrain as part of Bahrain’s 5th National Telecommunication Plan (NTP5). Providing high-speed internet in Bahrain, our aim is to implement fiber optic networks for 100% of all businesses and 95% of all households throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. As the owner of the fiber-based national broadband network in Bahrain, BNET is obligated to grant all other licensees equal access to top-notch fiber internet services. This allows BNET to meet customers' business demands by offering top-notch retail telecommunications services at competitive prices.

The following are the services and products provided by BNET:

Wholesale Bit-stream Service (WBS)

The Wholesale Bit-Stream service (WBS) provided by BNET helps licensed operators from Bahrain in providing high-speed broadband connections ranging up to 1Gbps to customers across the Kingdom. Our role involves enabling communication infrastructure to reach nearly every household and business in the country.

Wholesale Data Connection (WDC)

The Wholesale Data Connection (WDC) Services by BNET enables licensed operators to connect their services to enterprise customers and business customers, including interconnectivity with other licensed operators. WDC offers symmetric, dedicated, synchronous and uncontended data connectivity within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Mobile Data Service – Active (MDS-A)

The Mobile Data Service – Active (MDS-A) offers symmetrical, dedicated point-to-point private leased circuit connectivity in Bahrain, connecting an Access Seeker's Core Mobile Site with a Wireless Radio Site. It is accessible to Access seekers with an appropriate Mobile Individual Telecommunications License.

Fiber Fronthaul Service (FFS)

The Fiber Fronthaul Service (FFS) by BNET is available to Access Seekers holding an Individual Mobile Telecommunications License. It is a point-to-point provision of dedicated Fiber connectivity, between the Base Band Unit (BBU) and the Remote Radio Head (RRH) of the Mobile Network.

Core Connect and Landing Station Service (CCLS)

The Core Connect and Landing Station Service (CCLS) offers a high-speed circuit on BNET's dedicated fiber network within Bahrain, connecting two Core Network Sites of an Access Seeker or an Access Seeker’s Core Site or Landing Station. It is available to holders of an Individual Telecommunications License and intended for an Access Seeker’s internal operations, not for End User services.

Service Node Facilities Management Service (SNFM)

The SNFM Service provides an access service, specifically a co-location as rack space for the Access Seeker’s Equipment installed within BNET's exchange building. The space may house BNET’s or other Licensed Operator’s equipment, unpartitioned between them or the Access Seeker Equipment. It is available to holders of an Individual Telecommunications License.

Strategic Partner Access Service (SP-Access Service)

The SP-Access Service involves granting a designated Strategic Partner access to BNET's facilities to facilitate the provision of services to a designated Strategic Partner in the Kingdom. It connects a Strategic Partner's Point of Presence with an Access Seeker's Point of Presence using BNET’s Passive Infrastructure. Any Access Seeker can access this service upon receiving a written and verifiable request from a Strategic Partner.
